Small Story of Peace (Audio inside)

A small Story - Let me start with a small peaceful story which I heard/read somewhere. This small story basically going to be a good start for our series of audios as it talks about how we can bring peace in life and be happy.

Welcome, I would like to start our Jijivisha series with a small interesting story. I have heard this story from someone or read it online somewhere however found it very interesting hence thought of sharing it with you all. 

This story is a dialog between a farmer and another person. The farmer was going with some stuff on his bullock cart and the person saw him and asked for a lift:

Person: Hello there, can I get a lift?

Farmer: (while singing a song)Sure, hop on.

Person: Where are you going with this stuff?

Farmer: I am going to an ABC place to sell this. 

Person: But this will take a long time for you to reach the place you mentioned. Why not go by a motor car or truck?

Farmer: What will happen then?

Person: So you can deliver your goods soon and can go home early.

Farmer: What will happen then?

Person: Well then you can start preparing the next batch sooner for the delivery.

Farmer: What will happen then?

Person: (Annoyingly) What do you mean what will happen, this way you can earn more money. 

But the farmer was again asking the same question.

Person: If you earn more money, you can buy all the nice fancy things for your personal use and for your family.

Farmer: So what will happen then?

Person: (this time really very annoyed) If you get all these good things for you and your family then all of you will become happy and peaceful.

Farmer: Sir, I am already happy and peaceful. Look at me, I am going to my destination slowly, by singing a song and I have no problem reaching there after a few days.

Well, this story has a very deep meaning in it. We go behind a lot of things which we do not need in our life at all. All these things which we think will make our life easier, peaceful and happy basically makes it more complicated and in some situation unhappy. 

So please do think what is that you would like to achieve in life rather than running behind something that you do not need and only buy to probably as a stature symbol. Thank you.
