Alcohol Consumption (Audio inside)

"Do ghut muze bhi pilade sharabi, dekh fir hota hai kya". This line from the famous song really up to the mark when they say, "find out what happens when you drink". This audio clip is made under no influence of alcohol whatsoever :)

Welcome, today we are going to talk about Alcohol more from a perspective about how Alcohol was introduced in India? I don't want to talk much about why it should not be consumed as we all know it has bad effects on your health.

During my research, I realized that Alcohol too is born out of deceitful British minds. Let me tell you no other country in the world was as prosperous as India before Britishers looted us. It wasn't easy for them to loot us or exploit us. After attempting everything, Britishers decided to send their vicious Officer to India to figure a way out. After spending some time in India, the officer went back with a plan and putting out the conversation which must have been like below:
  • British Govt: So what did you find out? How can we achieve our goal?
  • Officer: I do not think we can make this country our slave or loot them.
  • British Govt: (shockingly) Why? We sent you there to find out what can be done.
  • Officer: I understand but I did not find anything that we can use for our benefit and loot them
  • British Govt: (angrily)  What do you mean? Explain.
  • Officer: The people of India are all rich and happy. I did not see any beggar on the road. They do not have any bad habits. All they do is, pray, donate, and help someone.
This short story tells us about India back then. So Britishers already started breaking these values in 1760 when they started the first alcohol shop in India. They knew very well that alcohol will definitely help them to achieve their goals. However, Indus Valley civilization confirms the availability of alcohol and Somras (not alcohol) limited to mostly Kings and their durbar. It was not available easily for general public consumption.

In the initial few years, the alcohol shop did not work well. No Indians would visit. It was only occupied by English people. But then there was a time(a few years after the above conversation happened ) when slowly Indians were pushed to this alcohol and things started changing. This changed so much that even after the Britishers left India, the number of alcohol shops continues to grow.  I personally feel that Indians are not only so addicted to Alcohol but are also attracted to Western culture.

Alcohol consumption is leading to an increase in domestic violence, ill behaviors.

So finally, I would highly suggest stop alcohol consumption and lead a happy life. Thank you.
